We’re honored to share that UAV-IQ has been selected as a recipient of the 2023 IPM Achievement Award by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR). This recognition was announced on March 5, 2024, and we are deeply grateful to the growers, researchers, and partners who have supported our work over the years.

At UAV-IQ, we believe biological control should be both practical and effective. That belief led us to launch BioDrop, our drone-powered service that delivers beneficial insects directly into the field with precision and care. What began as a way to improve the logistics of insect releases has become a trusted tool for helping growers manage pests like vine mealybug while reducing chemical inputs.

Over our history, we’ve been fortunate to collaborate with forward-thinking growers and research teams, including those involved in CDFA- and USDA-funded field trials. We’ve worked closely with UC Extension specialists to refine our insect release protocols and have expanded our reach to protect more acres of farmland using science-based, regenerative techniques.

This award is a reflection of those partnerships. To the growers who took a chance on a new way of doing things, the researchers who helped us get the science right, and the suppliers and logistics partners who made it possible to move live insects around the world—thank you.

We’re proud to contribute to a more resilient future for California agriculture and grateful to CDPR for this recognition.
